The Abidjan Road Terminal (TERRA) obtains the green terminal label from Bureau Veritas.

Who is Abidjan Road Terminal

The Abidjan Road Terminal is a port concession of the Bolloré Group. As a port facility, it welcomes ships making international travels. It has been recognized as such since August 2013 by the General Manager of Maritime and Port Affairs.

What is the purpose of this certification?

The Bolloré Group has initiated the green terminal label within its port concessions in Africa to meet its eco-responsible approach. This certification attests to and rewards TERRA's efforts to preserve the environment.

"This is a source of pride for TERRA, which has been working for several years to reduce the impact of its activities on the environment and to achieve our eco-responsible approach," says Joël Broux, General Manager of the company in charge of handling and managing ro-ro ships in the port of Abidjan.

What is the mission of Bureau Veritas?

Bureau Veritas carried out the audit of TERRA's environmental performance. The audit was based on eight criteria, including the awareness and involvement of its employees in environmental issues, the implementation of actions to reduce plastic waste, and the optimization of the company's energy consumption.
