cosmetic analysis

Cosmetic analysis

In order to guarantee the product quality of a cosmetic product and the safety of the consumer, it is necessary to carry out regular microbiological checks on each batch of finished product before marketing.

These controls generally include a determination of the number of germs in the product and the control of its conservation (test of the efficiency of conservation).

Bureau Veritas proposes to prevent the microbiological risk of cosmetics and other products that act on applied areas through specific microbiological analyses.

Enumeration and detection of mesophilic aerobic bacteria, detection of Escherichia coli and skin pathogens such as Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Yeast and Molds and Candida albican may be justified.

These microorganism tests reveal possible hygiene failures during the manufacturing process.
