With BV’s Audit engagement, JSW Steel, India’s largest steel producer, became only the third steel company in Asia to achieve ResponsibleSteelTM certification in March 2025.
Our expert audit team in India guided the company through the rigorous certification process. Now, four of JSW Steel's manufacturing plants, representing 80% of their primary steel production, are officially recognized as meeting the ResponsibleSteelTM standards. The standard has over 500 requirements for the responsible sourcing and production of steel, including decarbonization .
