As a globally recognized voluntary certification scheme, PEFC provides assurance that forestry operations adhere to responsible practices, promoting the conservation of forests while meeting the increasing demand for wood and forest products through sustainable means.   • PEFC Certification: Focusing on sustainable forestry management, adhering to economic, environmental, and social standards, enabling forest owners to demonstrate their commitment to responsible practices through an internationally recognized certificate. 

  • PEFC Chain of Custody: Ensuring traceability of wood products throughout the supply chain, from certified forests to manufacturers, suppliers, wholesalers, and retailers, enabling transparency and verification of certified material sourcing.

Bureau Veritas provides internationally recognized certification to PEFC  standards. 

  • PEFC Forest management certification is available for all forest owners / managers that wish to implement sustainable forest management system.
  • PEFC chain of Custody certification is available for all manufacturing and/or trading companies that wish to implement Chain of Custody (CoC) certification (Individual/ Group).
  • PEFC RED II certification is available for economic operators worldwide. It covers forest biomass, ligno-cellulosic material derived from processing residues originating in forest-related industries, waste, and biomass fuels produced from ligno-cellulosic material for heating, cooling, and electricity production.
