Bureau Veritas Partner with the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation to deliver a workshop in Cairo

Bureau Veritas was proud to partner with the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) to deliver the "Emissions Management for the Egyptian Petroleum Sector" workshop in Cairo, bringing together over 80 industry leaders from more than 50 companies.

Led by Ahmed Samir Elbermbali, Director of Sustainability for MCA, and Raja Bou Fakher Aldeen, Director of Industry for the North Middle East Area, the workshop addressed key topics including methane management, sustainability reporting, carbon accounting, carbon markets, and decarbonization pathways.

The discussions reinforced the importance of credible emissions data, robust sustainability practices, and practical strategies to support the energy transition. The workshop demonstrates Bureau Veritas' expertise in supporting the energy sector's sustainability journey.
