Ababacar Gueye
Ababacar is currently in charge of the Industry Division of Bureau Veritas for Angola and Central Africa. With several years of activity in the TIC industry, he worked previously in the management consulting industry to implement management systems in the subsidiaries of multinationals. Captivated by technologies, Ababacar thrills for improving the quality and the efficiency of our products through close contact with our inspectors in the fields and the clients, towards an ultimate goal of better safety for Bureau Veritas's clients and the populations.
David Santos
David has been the Engineering & Quality Manager in Services Lines such as Certification & Training, Construction, Technical Assistance, QHSE, Food and Agriculture services since 2019. He joined Bureau Veritas in 2002 and has been in Angola since 2015. He has a Master's degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Lisbon Instituto Superior Técnico, as well as a postgraduate certificate in Work Safety.
Swarupa Deshpande
Dr. Swarupa Deshpande has worked for Bureau Veritas for 14 years in various aspects of the oil and gas industry, including 12 years in the South Asia region and the last two years as the Oil & Gas Market Leader for Africa. She spent the previous seven years in various marketing roles in industries such as SCADA, specialty chemicals, and agricultural equipment. Swarupa holds a Bachelor of Technology and an MBA in Marketing Management from Petroleum University in India. She also holds a Doctorate in Oil and Gas Management.

Najim ASKIA joined Bureau Veritas Group on February 2021 as Africa Power & Utilities Market Leader. He is a business development professional with 12 years of experience in international, multicultural, and cross-sector environments. With an academic background in civil engineering. Najim worked in France, Saudi Arabia, Niger, and the United Kingdom, collaborating with global companies and public institutions to generate new business opportunities in the mining, energy, and building infrastructure sectors.
