The French ambassador, H.E Mr. Sticker, also addressed the guests, saying, “The establishment of this new office is not merely the opening of a physical space; it is a testament to the values of excellence, partnership, and innovation”. Furthermore, Mr. Martin stated, "We believe in the potential of Uganda's industry and the entire East African region, and we are excited about the opportunities ahead. We intend to actively engage and support our clients in these various industries.”

BV Uganda Opening
The next stop was Rwanda, where Mr. Bertrand met with clients from 15 to 16 October where he discussed Bureau Veritas' support and involvement in gas projects, support for the implementation of HSE projects, and the expansion of Agrifood services.
Bertrand Martin concluded his East Africa visit in Kenya, where BV Trust Makers in Sales, Finance, and QHS were recognized for their outstanding contributions to supporting our clients. This action inspired all BV personnel to continue delivering excellence in their areas of responsibility.
A common theme throughout the visit was the significance of quality standards, in not only elevating the products our clients provide but also facilitating access of those African made products to global markets and for Intra-Africa trade thus contributing to the African continent's economic growth.
As a Business to Business to Society company, Bureau Veritas shapes trust between businesses, public authorities, and consumers. Bureau Veritas is honored to be a part of this process in ensuring standards that aid in trade facilitation.
