Bureau Veritas South Africa is certified as a 2022 Top Employer

Commenting on the company's achievement, Ms Beatrice Scharneck, District Human Resources Manager for Bureau Veritas Southern Africa, said: "We are immensely proud to have received such certification, which enables the showcasing of our organisation's dedication to a better world of work during the year ahead."

Certification approval followed a rigorous and independent analysis of the company's human resources environment by representatives of the Top Employers Institute.

The analysis took into account six human resources domains, comprising some 20 topics, inclusive of people strategy, the work environment, talent acquisition, learning and well-being, as well as diversity and inclusion, amongst a number of other components. 

Ms Scharneck added: "Our company successfully completed a number of critical steps which made up a comprehensive analysis programme, including a human resources best practice survey, a validation process and an audit. Pleasingly, the ultimate outcome was that Bureau Veritas was found to have in place and to actively display excellent human resources policies and people practices, thus qualifying for Top Employer certification."

The organisation's performance score was rated against an international standard. 

The Top Employers Institute is a global authority charged with recognising excellence in people practices, striving to accelerate these practices, so as to better enrich the world of work. 

Crucially, organisations participating in the Top Employers Institute Certification Programme are validated, certified and recognised as employers of choice.
