CSR, at the heart of our missions and activities for 2021

CSR, Corporate Social Responsibility, is part of Bureau Veritas' raison d'être. By sponsoring the Marjana cooperative, we are giving concrete expression to this desire to act responsibly and sustainably.

The year 2020 was a special year for us all. By sponsoring the Marjana association, which produced the end-of-year gift boxes offered to our partners, we are helping to promote their know-how.

Founded in 2005, the Marjana association has taken the responsibility of bringing together women in difficult situations and has set itself the goal of improving the socio-economic situation of these women in the region by using their proud determination and craftsmanship. Today, the cooperative counts 80 women.

Aware that human and social development requires education, the association has implemented a literacy program for the benefit of these women in order to help them gain autonomy and independence.

Bureau Veritas carries out various CSR actions and services for the benefit of associations to enable them to develop better.
In order to do so, we conduct two certifications:

ISO 22 716, covering good manufacturing practices for cosmetic products.
HACCP, for food safety control,

We also accompany them on the marketing and communication aspect as well as on the analyses with our Labomag laboratory.
