The General Directorate of Meteorology becomes one of the first state bodies to obtain ISO 9001 V2015 certification

Bureau Veritas supported the Directorate General of Meteorology (DGM) in its ISO 9001 V2015 certification, for all its management, production and support activities. The DGM is one of the first state bodies to obtain ISO 9001 V2015 certification.
A ceremony for the awarding of this certificate took place in the presence of several executives from the Ministry of Equipment, Transport, Logistics and Water and the DGM. On this occasion, Bureau Veritas presented the Minister of Equipment, Transport, Logistics and Water, Abdelkader Amara, with the ISO 9001 V2015 certification certificate, delivered to the DGM after external audits conducted by the said office, for all the management, production and support activities of this organisation.
For her part, the Sales and Marketing Director - North Africa of Bureau Veritas, Amina Oumoha, stated that the majority of the aspects of this certification are mainly aimed at "customer satisfaction", risk management as well as the implementation of a quality policy to ensure continuous improvement of the services presented.
This meeting was an opportunity to review the novelties of the ISO 9001 V2015 Standard, including the analysis of the internal and external context of the organisation, the identification of stakeholders, the risk and opportunity approach, the commitment to quality and organisational knowledge.
