SEGUCE RDC Participates in the Annual Investment Meeting (AIM Congress) in Abu Dhabi

Apr. 9 2025

From April 6 to 9, 2025, SEGUCE RDC, a Bureau Veritas company, was invited by the National Agency for Investment Promotion (ANAPI) to take part in the Annual Investment Meeting (AIM Congress) in Abu Dhabi. This invitation aimed to highlight the reform project of the Integrated Single Window for Foreign Trade (GUICE), led by SEGUCE RDC, as a true success story.

This Single Window Platform simplifies the import, export and transit of goods between the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and other countries, with the goal of facilitating foreign trade operations in order to improve turnaround time, reduce costs, and ensure conformity, transparency and traceability.

Through the GUICE platform, the Democratic Republic of Congo showcases its concrete commitment to modernizing, increasing transparency, and facilitating foreign trade.

Stéphane Gaudechon, Government Services Growth Leader for the Middle-East, Caspian and Africa Region at Bureau Veritas, along with Yann Le Roux, Managing Director of SEGUCE RDC, took part in this major event and engaged in several constructive discussions, including a meeting with Her Excellency Judith Suminwa, Prime Minister of the Democratic Republic of Congo.

These discussions reaffirmed SEGUCE RDC's commitment to supporting the country’s economic and trade development.

SEGUCE RDC's participation in the AIM Congress is a testament to the international recognition of the GUICE model as an innovative and efficient tool, now regarded as a benchmark in trade facilitation. Through SEGUCE RDC, Bureau Veritas continues to  promote operational excellence and support strategic reforms and sustainable growth across Africa.
