CRITICAL USE CASE
Bureau Veritas has successfully validated the greenhouse gas emission reductions for Monsoon Carbon's "Monsoon Methane Avoidance from Industrial Wastewater in Malaysia Grouped Project" under the Verified Carbon Standard (VCS) framework.
The validation process, conducted by Bureau Veritas' team of experts, involved a comprehensive review of the project's design, baseline, and monitoring plan, followed by in-depth stakeholder interviews and the resolution of all identified issues. Ultimately, Bureau Veritas found the project to be fully compliant with all relevant VCS and UNFCCC requirements, paving the way for its registration as a VCS Grouped project activity.
